10%body fat --->8%
OK so here is my problem, i seemed to have reached what i would call athletes block. I cant seem to get down to 8 percent body fat. I have been stuck now at 10ish for almost a month and nothing seems to work. I have been running almost every day for about 2.5 miles at a decent 8 min pace. One of my lifting buddies recommended that instead of running 3 miles i should sprint 1. Any opinions would be appreciated.

This is common for most people as your pushing your body past its genetic limitations. Most of the time diet is the main culprit. Try posting your diet in the diet section for someone to review.

How much sugar is in the protein...
and are you drinking any soda... even diet???

i dont drink any soda and my protein is ProM3 which has only 2g of sugar per serving

protein shake with breakfast lunch and dinner, and before bed
Breakfast is yogurt, branmuffin, and eggwhites, water
lunch is either tunafish on wheat bread or turkey and roastbeef on wheat
and dinner is chicken
yogurt and protein before bed

eat the same calories broken into more meals.
Also 20min of cardio may not cut it.
Add an ECA and do an hour of cardion with a heart rate under 170, under 160 if no ECA.

It looks like your cardio is inadequate. Running is too catabolic, and your duration is too short...all you're doing is depleting liver glycogen.
Do 45-60 minutes of something low intensity like the bike or elliptical trainer at a HR of 120-130ish and the fat will melt off quickly.

u think maybe i should take a stacker, do my lifting routine, and then when finished do 45-60mins of low-moderate intensity cardio like on the elliptical or bike or somethin

There's a lot of speculation on this, but many believe that the best time to do cardio is first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. Wake up, Do 45-60 mins of low-moderate cardio, Wait 30-40 mins. eat a pro/fat meal, and then take your ECA. at least that's what I do. I take my ECA after meals, cuz I've heard to many horror stories of taking it on an empty stomache.....

The milk in your shakes is what is killing your diet.
Sugar + the fat in peanut butter = fat accumulation.
Every time you ingest carbs lipolysis is inhibited.

is there any way i can gage my bf % myself? how do you measure this without getting one of those high-costs test they offer at my gym? although i love talking to Cynthia the Spandex Goddess, i would rather not pay her for her services in telling me i need to "cut back on the fat". U HEARD?

go to ur local gym and ask one of the trainers, they usually have one of the caliper things and if they dont they'll know somewhere u can go to get it done
