Thread: Deadlifts are making me huge!

I did them for the 1st time last week and let me tell you my lower back and legs felt it for almost 5 days. It felt good. Your arms blow up like crazy from holding that weight. also, my heart rate never really pumped like that before even when i do squats. I refuse to use straps myself also. Grip strength is very important in a lot of things you do. I only did 225 and i weigh 210 but i learned from experience not to go crazy when starting something new. I am just going to take it slow and add 20 lbs a week.

you're kidding right? This is probably the most important exercise for overall mass, and you don't do it?
