how do you reformat a picture?
i want to upload some pictures of the net but the files are to large. is their a way to compress it or reformat so i can upload? i deel like such an ignorant fool

Either Adobe Photoshop or something simpler like Microsoft Photo Editor... do you have either of those?

Photo Editor is easier to explain...
Open the Photo... go to IMAGE >>> RESIZE
Then type in the dimensions either by pixel or inches. If you want to post something on a message board, keep the width under 400 pixels... the program will adjust the height accordingly... hit "OK" then SAVE it...

If the picture is in BMP format then you have problems as they typically take up much more space then neccesary. Cheek the file extension if it says .BMP you may want to consider opening it up in I dunno (windows imaging?) whatever you have handy and exporting it as GIF or JPEG.
