Sorry- didnt mean it that way..just meant that it seems to have lost its novelty. Back in the "Breakin" days..yeah it was okay...now every JR high school kid that scan afford a bandana, clothes that do not fit is suddenly "just keepin it real" or some poster child for Oxy Clean watches MTV, now he finds himself ready emulate a fragmented sub-culture, speak with an lingustically forces "dialect"- and has suddenly become a "gangsta"...
Someone needs to let these kids know- that no matter how hard one tries to force it...no matter how many nights one lies in bed and prays to God for the "Michael Jackson Syndrome" in-reverse....IT WILL NOT HAPPEN!

I agree. I too find it amusing to watch these middle and upper crust, corn fed kids act, dress, and speak as though they are from SE LA or some similar place. It's not an issue of color in my mind, it's more of a socioeconomic thing. I mean what is MTV feeding these kids? Poll 10,000 kids and ask if they would rather be James Bond or 50 cent and I bet 95%+ would rather be the 'hard black gangsta'. I mean come on, is that even a fair question? Ahhhhhhhh, kids are so shortsighted.

I am somewhat disappointed to see caucasion males with the mindset that you can act a color or race. Hip-hop doesnt care whether you are white, black, hispanic, asian or anything else. That is a lifestyle and culture not a race or demographic. There are many individuals who are not of caucasion decent that speak with Oxford English grammar and conduct themselves in a manner considered to be proper by society that never get accused of trying to act a race. Here I was complaining about the racism that exists in the african-american community towards whites while caucasions come on here and shove racists remarks down others throats (not talking about Jade or Damion I realize the intent was a joke). I guess I am just disappointed that we as a society have not come further since peak of racist hate in the 60's. I am not singling out whites for their racism in this thread either, for all one must do is mic up the players of an NBA game to realize the racism that exists from African-Americans towards white individuals (Trust me I've done it many of times).
