Why are they so dam* high? Is it Bush's fault? Will a new president help this problem?

KERRY WANTS TO ADD 50 CENTS PER GALLON FOR TAXES.
So that 2.50 gas in Ca will be 3 F'ing dollars if Kerry is elected.
I dont wanna hear shlt about Bush and gas prices.

Come on... you know that can't possibly be true... If you are gonna post stuff like that at least include a source so we can read about it.
Our economy is so dependent on oil there is no way we could just impose a 50 cent/gal tax. Prices for just about everything would skyrocket, economy would nose-dive, and job loss would be severe.

What does bush have to with this? Well, i'm not sure as to what specifically he has done, but the republicans have done a great job of pounding kerry, as it seems bush should be getting killed on this issue because of all his ties to the oil industry. Bush has also done nothing to promote alternative fuel research or even promote fuel savings vehicles, hell the tech is already here to make a hybrid out of every vehicle. Why isn't it being done? Thats a very good question.

How do I find a source for that?
He ACTUALLY PROPOSED it. His way of getting out of debt. He also feels it will also decrease the amount of traffic on the road. Go back and look at some of his campaign speeches. Even one of the Bush commercials pointed it out. That is an extra 1,000 dollars a year for the AVERAGE person PER car.
Cost me 60.00 today to fill up my ford f 150 with regular

Where have you been? Gas already went up from 1.50 to 2.50 in 3 months.
You think it cant go up another 50 cents? Come to California and I will show you how prices on EVERYTHING from food to construction materials have gone up 25-50 percent in that same time period. In fact, I just raised my prices from 200 dollars to 250 dollars. That is a 50 dollar increase in 3 months because of gas. I need to make a profit too.
You need to read the economy section of the newspaper.

I have to handle logistics for things getting around the world for work sometimes, and now I have to deal with people charging me more just for gas. Almost all the work I do is for the government... so your tax money is paying for higher prices on everything because of it.
And as far as wanting to see a source... YOUR **** RIGHT. This guy is running for President. If he is gonna propose a 50 cent per gallon tax on gas, I wanna know about it. I would think others would too. But I am not gonna take someone's word on it. I would want to see it in writing from somewhere. Otherwise it's just someone spreading Fear, uncertainty, and doubt.

I have my own automotive shop and I do a lot of work for used car dealers. I just swipe a few gallons here and there. They don't know the difference and it makes up for all the cheap work they expect me to do for them.

Yeah but I dont drink 10 gallons of coffee a day. Actually I dont drink coffee at all.
I dont think gas prices will go down below 2 dollars in my life time. It is here to stay and we should get used to it because we are all too lazy and too big of pussies to force people out of office if they dont help with this issue.

actually theres cars that run on nitrogen , only by product is water....you could drink it.There just a fast as gasoline cars , just as much power. It would cost to much to change everything over all at once , so they say....but im sure if i had the chance id be the first station to supply it.I saw it on some show....it somehow splits the nitrogen atom wich creates power...and h20 is whats left of the atom when done , pretty interesting......oil companys have so much money they pay these people off to not produce this ****.
Terrorists just killed a bunch of people over there relating to opec and gas...that drove prises higher...dont be surprised to see alot of that ****.
Just bought a f-350....12.5miles to the gallon , smart huh.....at least its desiel abd i live near and indian rez...i olny pay 1.55 a agaalon as of now.
