    Great Movie!!!
Kirsten is hot ... I was trying to look up her dress when Doc carried her away how pathetic can one be?? .... anyway, i had bought my tickets early so I wouldnt have to wait in line. When I got to the theater and parked my car, the line was around the building and back. I laughed at all those hooligan idiots waiting to buy tickets. As I got closer I noticed that the line was for people already with tickets and waiting to go in. I had sh_itty seats by the time I got in, but hey, I'll go again! ....oh yeah, and there will be a Spider Man III

Not sure if any of you read the comic book. I've been collecting comics as long as I can remember. In the film, if you pay attention to names they setup the next movies for 3 villains. I'm not going to say who they are. You have to pay attention and figure it out.

No big deal. In the comic book they kill Mary Jane. They can do the same in the movie.

They will bring her back. In comics, characters never stay dead very long.

Good flick. Great Doc Oc fx... must have been a bitch to choreograph the fight scenes but the hard work shows. If they put all three of the new villians in the next one it's gonna be one hell of a movie.

The fight scenes are mostly CGI as well as the web swinging.

Understood. The CGI still requires a ton of communication, pre planning, and hard work to accomplish what they did in the film. Considering how the characters interacted with the enviroment and each other, not to mention animating each of Doc Oc's arms as a separate personality... it must have been an interesting task.

****, there I go switching into geek mode again...

I saw it this afternoon and it was more or less what I expected it to be: entertaining but certainly not engaging or exciting. Not that I know much about the filmmaking process or the politics that went into securing the rights for Spider Man, but throughout the entire film, I couldn't shake the impression that there was a truly quality script buried within that was just suffocated by the studio's insistence to get their summer blockbuster. In my opinion, The Hulk represents *everything* that is wrong with Hollywood and the super-hero genre these days, and spiderman appears as though it will have to tread carefully to avoid a slip down that same slope.

On a barely related note, and this is the English major in me refusing to die, this film intentionally or unintentionally (though I'd think there was too much for it to be accidental) paid quite the homage to "the great gatsby".

I noticed it too, but I wasn't pretentious enough to bring it up.

You two fockers need a serious week on THE CAPE to have some of your egalitarian fantasies grounded in my capitalist/labor-alienating reality.

Don't make me fly down there, because I WILL introduce myself as your fraternal brother. And don't think for a SECOND I would refrain from speaking only in verses from Tupac Shakur lyrics. Let's see how long your socialite endeavors can forstand the tremors of a tortured warrior-poet lyrical genius.

    Example:

Your friend Chip: You're Big Green's brother? Would you like a drink of Endangered Rhino semen?

Rambo: I AIN'T A KILLA BUT DON'T TEST ME, REVENGE IS LIKE THA SWEETEST JOY NEXT TO GETTIN PUSSAY!

While I am LMAO at that, I am: 1. curious as to what you think of endangered rhino semen, particularly the 1997 stock in which they fermented it with the azcularte plant (ie, cure for cancer), AND 2. going to take this opportunity to remind you that Chip, myself, and the gang have taken to hunting humans for sport. You seem like you'd make for a worth pursuit, particularly if we were to sew some sort of fox tail to whatever spine you have remaining that hasn't degraded as a result of your forefathers' coal mining pursuits. So, just a word of warning, I have an empty spot on my shelf that would look mighty fine with a stuffed rambo taking up some room.
