    Question Chat Room??? Do you use it?

    Hey guys, I notice the chat room is nearly always empty.

    Why not have a regular chat set up? Once or twice a week?

    Oh I agree with you PL if you are talking about the format, YES, it sucks BIGTIME. Why they use that outdated format is beyond me. There are many better ones out there.

    I used it when the board was down b/c I missed it....

    There's a few tools in there though, one guy who's always tryin to deal named bulkorders.....Anyone have control on who enters the chat room ?

    Yeah he was in there yesterday trying to seel to folks. I hear from another member he was banned from the board. What a fool. I hope one of the mods monitors the chat room and busts him.

    I totally agree, the chat room could turn out cool if you guys put some work into it. Now of course I know their already busy trying to put the board back together

    But maybe in the future they can check out the chat room and do something about that.

    I like that idea too, IRC isn't a bad idea, but that might draw ppl away from the board. This is just like a chat in a sense, ppl respond so fast, it's almost like being in a chat. I don't know though...depends on what you ppl think. Maybe Jason should have a vote/poll about this in the near future.

    Just for the record. We have no control on who allowed to come into the chat room. So scammers get in there and we cannot do anything about it.

    If you could still search for my old posts, which you cannot I have said before that the chat room sucked and that I had a surprise coming for all members of AR sometime in the near future. I am planning on installing a chat into the message board that can be contolled by the moderators. This way you will be able to browse the boards and chat at the same time.

    One thing at a time though guys. After I restore the board 100% and I catch up on sleep, I will add a few new features, and then I will start looking into the chat room thing again.

    hey J i would personally like to say your doing a massive job in the day to day running of the board and some times we prob forget that you commit alot of time to this place just so people can get sound advice,positive feed back and good old fashioned comradory(think thats how ya speel it) so once again thank you.
