Does anyone know of a way to get a cheaper deal on a 6 month subscription to the wall street?

And no, i really dont want to be seen joining coldstone at 7am in the public library

Many ways to cut the cost on the subscription.You can go to most financial sites and they offer WSJ for a 2-3 week free trial period.Then the subscription is usually discounted as well.
Do you find it neccesary to read yesterdays news?You can watch 20 mins of CNBC and get the same thing.IMO,waste of money unless you need it for school research.Plus there are a zillion free sites to research stocks and even create paper portfolios.

Thanks for your .02 DB, appreciate it. I wish i had cable at my place, but i dont, and the local news in my town is awful. I also just want to be more well versed in finance and wouldnt hurt for school either

i dont even know where the public library is

much less how the wall street journal is useful to me

but i do know where the good places are to sleep in the campus library, and where all of those old thick books are to rest your head on

Not personally. my buddy got his SI and playboy subscription from them, i dont know how they are but he hasnt said anything about it.
