IMO rap itself require no talent.....but Tupac at least seemed to put meaning behind what he was saying, he didn't just rhyme to put words on a record.....after all, we can't just have a beat, we have to have these "talented" people talking over it
From what I understand he was a good guy, and that means volumes more to me than any music he ever created. Even if he didn't make the beats.....sorry, that was a cheap shot. I wish there were more rappers like him now, truth be told, all it is are these wannabes that talk about how tough they are, but are surrounded with bodygaurds 24-7........He put positive messages in his music to boost people, not just make them bang there heads while they turn up the base in their Honda Civic.
