On friday it was -38 with the wind chill, but today it's a mild -20. Got a nasty frost bite on my ear on saturday walking across the parking lot to the car.

I have lived in Bangkok for 4 years now. All but about 10 days out of the year are too hot, the other 10 are "nice and cool."
When I feel comfortable (about 70 degrees) the Thais are running around in sweaters and parkas complaining about the cold!

When we had a low of 54º one morning they used the 1st 10 minutes of the local news that night to talk about the "COLD".

Alabama has very milds winters as far as winters go. I think that we may have 2 months out of the entire year that are cold. Col to me is anything that is below 45 degrees. Temperatures in the 60 tp 80 range is very comfortable although the hotter it is the better I like it. Heck, thats beach weather! I hate cold weather, always have.
