For some people the beginning of the cycle starts with them being horn dogs but as the cycle hits later weeks 12-16 or more the sex drive goes to the toilet. Possible cause for you to look into.

The androgen receptors in your you know what down regulate due to overwelming activity of androgens, as that happens your sex drive is slowely reduced...but i wouldn't know anything about that i have been clean for over 1/2 year

It's not uncommon for sex drive to decrease while taking testosterone (even large amounts). I've posted this comment several times in similar threads. If I can locate one of my more detailed responses, I'll post the link to it here.

As promised, here is a more detailed response from the following thread:
http://forums.anabolicreview.com/showthread.php?t=87793
This has come up many, MANY times. There are several posts floating around about this.
Sometimes we hear things repeated so often that they seem like fact, and other things seem like fact based on "common sense." However, not all that we read/hear repeatedly or believe is true. One of the most common mistakes is to believe that using moderate to high levels of testosterone during a cycle automatically means that you will have a high sex drive throughout the cycle (if you are male). This is an incorrect assumption.
Just because you're taking loads of testosterone , does not mean that you're going to have incredible erections, have a high sex drive, or experience sexual overstimulation. If you've read more than 5 posts on this board, you've probably come across the phrase, "steroids affect each person differently." This is a true statement that applies not only to the rate at which one grows on steroids or to the amount of side effects that one experiences, but also to the way your sex drive and your mental state are affected.
Although testosterone has been prescribed to help eliminate depression and erectile dysfunction (refer to articles and posts on HRT--Hormone Replacement Therapy), testosterone can cause depression and sexual dysfunction while using it. Testosterone can cause a man to experience a sharp increase in sex drive followed by a sharp decrease in sex drive, which may be lower than the sex drive he normally experiences while not taking testosterone.
Many men experience a high sex drive on certain steroids including testosterone. But, this doesn't happen to everyone. It doesn't mean your gear is fake or underdosed. It could mean that you're not eating enough (which will hinder the positive affects of the steroids). But, if you're doing everything correctly while cycling and still not getting the famed steel erections that won't quit, then it just means that you're one of the men that does not experience sexual overdrive while on certain steroids.
This seems to go against "common sense." But, if you stop and remember that STEROIDS AFFECT EVERYONE DIFFERENTLY, it'll be easier to accept that a person using moderate to high amounts of testosterone can lose his sex drive or, at least, experience a sharp decline in sex drive (ablity to hold an erection, etcetera).
Think about this: Does EVERYONE get deca dick while using deca? No. In fact, some guys get overstimulated while using deca at 400mg EW and testosterone at 400-500mg EW. Others using the same doses loose their ability to get and/or maintain an erection while on deca and testosterone.

Here's a copy of two posts from the following thread with a different take on the situation:
The same thing happens to me when I do not eat enough balanced meals.
Here are some things to consider:
1. You said that you cut your calories from 5000 down to 3500. Are you estimating or have you taken time to really follow your diet as meticulously as you researched your gear, cycles and source? Are you writing down what you're eating and adding up every calorie for each day's meals? If not, then I think you'll be terribly surprised at what you find if you start logging your meals and take the NECESSARY time to calculate what you're really eating.
2. How much of your protein and calories are coming from shakes versus beef, chicken and complex carbs? Do not depend on shakes for a majority of your protein and bulking calories.
Use shakes only to add a little edge to your diet. The base of your calories and protein should come from REAL food--not supplements. If each day you're drinking 4 shakes and each night you're heading to bed thinking you've gotten your 200 grams of protein, think again.
3. Yes, gear sometimes can be under-dosed or fake. Once your find a reliable source, fake and underdosed gear is the exception rather than the rule. If you have a reliable source who is not known for pushing fakes or for selectively scamming, then you need to buckle down and take care of your diet before you blame ANYTHING else.
If you're not gaining lean body mass or experiencing the libido increases you're looking for, these are the things you need to check in order of importance:
1. Nutrition
2. Rest
3. Training intensity, exercise form and program*
4. Gear
*--NOTE: I placed this third only because most people are actually overzealous when it comes to training while on gear. Intensity is often the first piece of the puzzle correctly to be put into place.
Time and time again I hear or read that a person isn't growing or experiencing increases in libido and they blame the gear first, training intensity/form/program second, and hardly ever consider rest as a factor. But it seems EVERYONE has their nutrition down perfectly--yeah right.
Don't take any of this post as a flame to you. The reason for my tone here is that I have heard too many people "confidently" announce that they have organized their nutrition perfectly and that they strictly follow their diet. Yet, by the time I get to the second or third question about thier nutrition, it is already PAINFULLY obvious that they have neither organized nor followed thier diet correctly.
If you're not growing or getting the libido increases that you expect, go back to the drawing board (if you've been there in the first place) and work on your nutrition with the same vigor you used to research your gear, cycles and sources.
Keep growing.
One more thing to emphasize:
If you read many of the steroid descriptions and do research on line, you'll find that steroids do not work their magic without proper nutrition. This includes libido.
So you can pump yourself full of steroids, but if you're not properly feeding yourself, your body won't respond with those constant, can-punch-holes-in-a-wall, steel erections which just about every male on gear is pursuing.
NOTE: There are more things to consider such as whether you have adverse reactions (libido-/erection-wise) to EQ, Deca and/or other steroids. But I think you see my main point from what I've written in the two posts above.

Very informative bask8case!
Im on a cycle of test/eq/dbol , just finished the dbol about a week and a half ago, and was having some trouble with my sex drive. I looked over my daily routine and found that I was still taking the full dose of letro for the dbol bloat, witch I believe could have been killing my sex drive.

whoa, protein shakes 3-4 times a day doesn't do it? i thought protein was protein. would 1-2 shakes a day and 5-6 solid food be better than 3 shakes a day and 3 solid food meals?
