depends on what clubs you goto. every once in a while you can catch tiesto in chicago. but thats nothing compared to these raves that last like 4 days long.

I was a DJ in Boston for 5 years and I got sick of that music pretty quick once I kicked my drug habit! I don't mind listening to it every now and then but I can't get into it anymore like I used to. I don't even really like to spin anymore. I had alot of fun in the scene while I was there though, wouldn't change it for anything.

As for the lineup of that show it looks pretty good, lots of hard trance DJ's there, a few good uk hard house DJs too if your into that. They should have got Mauro Picotto though!

nice explanation, trance does take a different type of listening too, the best way i could describe trance compared with other music is it has much more depth to it then just a normal beat with lyrics, im into all kinds of music but IMO nothing can compare with the emotions and feelings u can get from listening to really good trance or vocal trance...

Hey everyone i am new here but this is one thread i can relate to, the first time i ever experienced the whole RAVE scene was about 4yrs ago after a horrible divorce and having my second child at the age of 30. I had never touched any drugs or even knew that there was such a world out there (i know pretty nieve), but once i was introduced to the whole rave scene and the music my god i thought i was in heaven it brought me out of a really bad depression, the feeling of being free. The intensity of the music just flowing through your body touching your soul even my daughters who were very little felt it. To this day i would not take back any of what i experienced and the music, none will ever touch my soul the way trance does.
