This author is a disgrace. He projects human life lost in WWII as if it were a waste. I say that WWII was a far more noble cause than Iraq anyday. And seriously, does anybody disagree? If so we can debate it till the cows come home in another thread.

Yea but his analogy about vietnam and Korea are good ones. We almost have a better moral standing in this war then we did with those two asian countries. We also have better moral justification in Iraq then we did in the following wars: throwing Spain out of Cuba, Haiti, Nicauragua, Somalia, Bosnia, Panama, Granada, etc? And this war is tremendously less costly in lives and capital adjusted for inflation when considering the Iraq war to other wars.

And this stuff of France and Russia saying no its not right to make war here, well isnt that like a crack addict who just found religion yesterday telling the the preacher he cant have a glass of wine with dinner.

France and Russia have had plenty of history medaling in the affairs of others. France actually CAUSE vietnam and handed it to us on a silver platter and Russia in one way or another caused Afganistan to be the terrorist haven it had become.
