building new engine
i am currently in the process of purchasing parts for my truck engine. already got "pro action" aluminum heads (180 intake runners, 72 chambers, 202, 160 valves, angle plug) edelbrock air gap intake, holley 750 double pump carb, comp cams pro magnum roller rockers. bottom end will be .060 over 383 chevy 4 bolt with 510 lift cam. all machine work and assembly and dyno will be done by www.rebelloracing.com and should dyno out at 500+ hp on pump gas. going in my 77 stepside 4x4. as you can see im soooo focking stoked i had to post

thats kick azz man. thats a ton of hp. is your truck lifted or is it a street hot rod? post some pics.

my '88 IROC has a 391 stroker(.060over)in it. it's injected and has all the sweet parts. it was dynoed at 404hp but has a WHOPPING 546 ft/lbs of torque. you're gonna need a lot of cam to run it to 500+ hp. the specs on mine are .525in, .535ex and 232degrees at .050. it's got a pretty healthy idle and i wouldn't want to go any bigger....especially in a 4x4 truck. good luck bro
