Hey bro, sorry i didnt see this post sooner, and im even sorrier to hear about your poor kitty....Unfortunately Maralyn (my kitten) didnt make it...

Did the Vet test for FHIV and feline Leukemia...? Id start there if they didnt, but im thinking they did. Did they check her blood sugar...? How is her eating...?

Thanks for replying bro and once again sorry about Maralyn as i know how you feel,

They did test for F.L. at the humane society and they said it was negative when we got her. We should prolly get her tested for FIV but either is a death sentence im sure. She is actually eating very well but we have to feed her. She cant get to her food bull on her own...she tried before but she cant make it or stand up and eat upright...I honostly thought she wasnt going to make it thru the night last night but she was up and crawling around this morning...its pretty upsetting..we are just going to keep giving her anti-biotics and the perscribed steroids and pray for some recovery.

I know how you feel bro. Maralyn wasnt even my pet really. I found her in my garage, but when they called me and told me had passed i cried.....Make sure she eats bro. Thats what did Maralyn in they said. She wasnt eating and her blood sugar dropped real low. That and her body temp was low. Im sure you have you baby nice and warm though...She could have some internal parasites so keep up with the meds and id have her tested for FHIV. Also one of my friends had similar problems with her cat and it had some kind of heart problem. Did they check her heart at all..?

Terribly sorry to hear about your cat Punk. My wife and I have two cats and they are like our kids... One ran away one time and my wife and I were devestated! We were lucky that he came back that night and we were sleeping so poorly that we noticed the motion sensor light coming on. Keep us updated on what happens. I am hoping the best for you and your gf...and your poor kitty.

thanks guys...yeah we are feeding her a lot but she has taken a turn for the worse...her eye is glazed over and she has lost about all movement...we are going to take her to the vet in the morning and prolly have her put down...Im trying not to cry but its so upsetting...she still purrs when we pet her...

I hope she makes it...she is holding on like a mofo..she knows we love her. Last night we thought she may pass so like a baby we kept her in between us most the night....about 2am we put her over in her bed and by morning she had crawled the whole way over to the base of our bed.... her name is punk'in...lol... i gotta say the cat has some drive..thats why we chose her..shes the only one out of the whole group that was meowing and wouldnt let us leave her sight...

We will see what the vet says tomarrow..we are bracing ourselves for a rough one...
