    Chest Size

    just curious what is the average chest size for a 24 yr old male ? AVERAGE meaning someone who does not regularly work out ?

    Thats hard to say... depends on the person's height and weight... i'd say your typical 5'9 , 160 - 180 lbs man ( who hasn't touched weights ) is not going to have a big chest...

    Average is impossible to say... I could guess and that's all it is...

    40" to 44" maybe all depending on height & weight...

    Well it will depend on the individual. They usually tailor suits to have a jacket 6" larger then the waist. So think of an average guys waist, add 6" and thats roughly what his chest will be. But as for an average circumference....... i know guys with 34" chests and guys with 50" chests neither work out, one just happens to weigh twice what the other does. To hazard a guess id say between 36-42. The reason i say this is because before i did bb i had a 36" chest and wore a small in shirt sizes. Now i have a 45" chest and wear an XL and that's pretty snug (i think most shops tailor their clothes for skinny guys). So if the average was outside of my guess alot of clothes shops would be missing out on alot of sales.

    im 24, im 5'8" weight 189lbs or so, and have a 45 inch chest and 50.5 inch shoulders. thats just for referance

    My jacket size to the dance in 11th grade was a 38, 2 years later it was a 50, man I grew fast within that time!!

    id say prime has th right idea dude. but it all depends on the type of body the person has, this is a question that has too much of a broad equation to work with. too many different answers imo..

    I'd say your average man has about a 30 - 32 waist size , and probably a 36 inch chest to 38 inch chest... most people do not have big chests naturally...
