    X-box ? Help Christmas EVE ? Kid envolved??? HELP!!!

    OK, SO i was unable to get my son an X-box. But I was able to rent one for x-mas. I got everything for Halo2, including the online play card... Here's my ? If I use the x-box I rented, and set up the online play... when i get the one I bought... (Which I will get on Tuesday).. Will the online x-box live card work on the new x-box?

    Long story why I did not get my own.. but I will have it soon...


    Should I wait to use x-box live? or can I use it with the rented x-box? Will the card still work?

    the way mine works is I have to have a password to sign on so no one should be able to use your account...I would think you would still be able to use it because I mean what if your x-box breaks or whatever..and you get a new one...should be able to transfer to the new x-box this is just my thinking anyway...I am sure there are a lot here that know for sure though.

    I am thinking it would work like a messenger, like MSN messenger or something..even if you get a new computer you just load it and and type in your ID and password cause its all saved on line.

    yes, all you will need is the account name, and credit card # used to initially activate the account.
