i used to roll around strapped all the time, i just went to clubs/bars where i knew the owners and/or bouncers so i wouldnt get patted down. i dont carry one on me now but sometimes i will depending on where i go. its nothing about being tough or a false sense of security its just if my life is in danger im gon to something about it, im not about to go out without a fight.

how about not going to places where youll need one snoop dogg lol
move to a different state or city
i cant comment much, orlando, tampa bay, key west, miami, bloomington, and indianapolis are the two big cities ive hanged at. never felt that need to have a gun or anything and still had plenty of fun and plenty of women. miami looked shady in some areas, but i didnt stop in those areas so no idea

Better to be caught with it than without it. I dont know about you guys but id rather have my life and a little time in the clink than a tombstone.
That being said, i dont carry when i go to bars anymore. I carry 24/7 for the most part, but if im in a very comfortable area with my friends, it stays in the trunk.

At one time I was an Insurance Agent, right outta school. Back then they still had "debit" accounts left. I lived in Philly at the time. My accounts because I was new were in the worst areas of Philly, even the projects. I always wore a dark suit and Ray Bans (the cop kind) people thought I was 5-0 all the time. In the summer when it gets hot people come out onto the porches and streets cause it's cooler. Things get real nasty real quick sometimes. I carried and had a permit.
I got into one situation, only one and I'm glad I had it that's all I'm gonna say about it.

I honestly cannot imagine living in an area where I have to carry a piece... it just doesn't jive with my reality.
But then things are a little different here... to put you in context, in ALL of Canada for 2003, there were 548 homicides, of which 100 were in my province. *
I do carry a blackjack for my work (enforcement for dept of environment) for personal protection, but even that is not legal here and would get me in trouble were I not carrying a badge.

Women over 30 are dignified. They seldom have a screaming match with you at the opera or in the middle of an expensive restaurant. Of course, if you deserve it, they won't hesitate to shoot you, if they think they can get away with it.
For all those men who say, "Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free". Here's an update for you. Nowadays 80% of women are against marriage, why? Because women realize it's not worth buying an entire Pig, just to get a little sausage.

I don't care about my car getting stolen....hell, I'd love the insurance company to buy me a new one.....BUT.....we had women getting kidnapped, held for days and raped repeatedly and then either killed or dumped. One woman was lucky enough to escape....after 3 days in the back of a van. I'd rather die fighting than ever be raped again!

ok, weve already talked about this and you know how i feel.
you and i get into an argument over some bs like a parking spot....i don't back down and you pretty much know your going take an ass beating.....so you pull your gun....well thats fine bc i'm just going to smile and walk away....get your plate number....pay 200 bucks and get all your personal info....then i'll meet when your coming out of your house at 7am with a baseball bat.....see what i mean? if your not willing to kill me and you pull a gun i will come back and hurt you....bad. and most likely your family will be watching.....so thats what i mean by its not worth throwing your life away....now if you have a permit great....carry one. but you still better be ready to kill when you pull it.....and i'm not......i would rather be called a punk at the moment when the person has a gun and come back to set his ass on fire when i know i won't be caught.

I hear a lot of this stuff like "I can't imagine living somewhere where you have to crry a gun". Well that's kind of like saying "I cant imagine driving on roads where I need car insurance." Ask anyone who carries concealed and they will tell you that they hope nothing ever happens, and most of the time nothing will ever happen, but that doesnt mean you shouldn't carry. If that were my outlook on life, I wouldnt have health insurance, dental insurance, my house would not be insured and I sure as hell wouldnt wear a seat-belt or have air-bags in my car, but the fact of the matter is that I do. If you don't want to carry, then don't; but I know for sure that when I can I will. Just look at BDTR, being shot not only once, but twice serves as a very valid reason to carry a tool that could insure his life if the situation were to ever occur again.

Why shoot a guy over a parking spot? It is a lot more fun to GIVE UP the parking spot, then pay some crack fiend $50 to flat his tires LOL! But I would never do that, either...

I only carry my ASP(AST in the states? Its a tactical batoon, the girl in RE2 had 2...), it goes with me everywere, even to the gym.
I have it cause i get threats when i work and want to have an equalizer at hand.
Guns arent that common overhere, only used when people get killed.
Stay safe and carry where ever you feel you might need it bro.

People like you make me what to have security(GUN), if something such as a parking spot will get you all pissed to a point to come after a guy at his house and do something to him and his family, that is just wrong. I hope the people here are saying legit guns with permits which I believe they are. To carry a weapon just favours your odd more towards you.... I dont what to throw off topic but when I was a kid my house got robbed. The problem was that I was home and he did not know this. But luckily my neighbor saw him breaking into the house. This man found me anyway he put a gun to my throat and was asking were the keys to my farthers mercedes and keys for the gun cabinet were. While he was saying this my neighbor came into the house and saw this the man put the gun in his pocket then my neighbor shot him in the shoulder he dropped and I ran away. Now I did not know were the keys were for both of them, so lets just say he thought I was lying what would he of done beat me, stab me shoot me. I dont know but if it wasnt for my neighbor with his quick thinking I maybe not be here to tell you this. Instead a person who has no respect for a life is in jail were he belongs.,

I understood what you wrote, but for you to go to the extent to get satisfaction because he pulled out a gun and you feel like you got punked. But instead of calling the police you go to the extent of going to this guys house to put a bat across his head. You are the one that is lost. You are not above the law, if you think so you will get caught and you will become that crinimal. If someone pulls a gun on me, I will get out of there and call the police. My life is worth more then being punked. Even if I had a gun and I can fight back but I have choice to get away with out getting harmed I would make that choice. That is why there are people called police officers who inforce the law.....you are not above the law Regardless what your friends might perceive you as. All I am saying is that guns are good and bad. If no one had a gun, sure there would be no point to have it. But because even criminals have them, it makes me feel and others a sense of security.

either way....don't pull a gun unless you are ready to kill the person....i'm not so i don't carry a gun....
if you have a permit more power to you....but you still have to be ready to kill the person

MMA is right, almost anytime ive pulled a firearm i didnt even have to point it, just unholster it and anyone with a bat or brass knuckles immediatly drops them and runs. If i shot everyone who has pulled a knife or a bat on me, id be doing 200 years right now.

Yes, I pack even though I am going to drink- not when I am going to get blasted. If I have a few beers/glasses of wine with lunch or dinner, I still carry a pistol. Yes it is a "no-no". but I throw it to chance. I carry a Kel-Tec, so it passes the curosry pat-down and scan-nice and thin- and polymer!
