Old men are Weird
i went out the the cemetary this morning to help my father did a specail hole for my grandfathers urn and that sob smokes like a mother, drinks like no other, and is 50lbs over weight and still just kept on diggin not gettin tired or anything in 85 degree temp w/ 90+% humidity. sad to say he outlasted me... anyone else ever notice how all old people are kinda like that... they have an uncanny stamina factor they seem to have acquired from the days of old?

I know what you mean bro. They are just conditioned from performing manual labor most of their life. That's ok...I'd whoop them in a typing marathon anyday

They would walk hundreds of miles to school everyday in 10feet of snow. We are simply not conditioned to keep up with these people.

Old men are friggin perverts. I love my dad to death, but he's always feeling up my wife and shit. He does it in a playful, you could read it either way, kinda way though. Sneaky bastard.

The older generation had it a lot harder than we ever have. Men were men back then.

Seems to depend on how they were raised
When I was in my best shape playing HS football, lifting, running, ect, my dad, even my grand-dad, were able to last longer at things like picking weeds, hoeing a row, digging a flowerbed, chopping wood, ect.
I think it came from them growing up on farms and no matter what the mundane task they were given was, they didnt get to come inside and eat until it was done!

Also times were far more physicaly demanding so rarely was someone fat. Now days it seem everyone is fat and it's the few that are lean.
It's a sobering experience when a 60 year old man can work a 20 year old into the ground. That's because the 60 year old has been working since he was 10. The 20 year old has probably never worked before and is a pussy whipped sniveling punk.
yeah, I like old guys.
