having problems posting pics

hey guy could use some help.Im trying to add some pics of my gear to the post and when i click on manage attachment its tellin me the pic is to large something like 650 kb and Im only allowed 175 kb
Im useing a nikon digital cam in jpeg photo shop WHAT THE DEAL????

Bro put the pic in photoshop and resize it to make the 175kb limit. Or go to Imageshack and post it there and then post the image URL here.

right click on the image. choose Open With > MS Paint

don't make any changes, just choose Save As and keep the file name the same - it'll reduce the file size of your picture and retain a lot of the quality, so don't worry.
