The drama that never ceases.
Despite the contention of many on AR that the higher ground is theirs for the taking, the actions of a minority disprove this. Case in point:
http://forums.steroid.com/showthread.php?t=123318
http://forums.steroid.com/showpost.p...6&postcount=81
Now, one could say that this is "one of the biggest "DON KING" promotions of drama I've ever seen", and as far as we the no name members know, was done without provocation. However, if there was provocation it was done privately and I would think that they issue should have stayed private, or if this is the same old issue, should have remained dead and buried where it was.
Now, I am sure that I will be at the very least blasted as creating even more "drama" by creating this thread (with the possibility of being suspended or even banned), but the way that a lot of the long time members have been treated needs to be addressed. I'm so tired of people passing judgement on me it's ridiculous, but I don't have to stick around to hear about it nor hang at a place where it's evident I am not welcomed. It's been said here that I am (and other lowly members like me) are "no names on the internet" whose opinions (in so many words) do not matter, as SwoleCat put it in a now deleted thread which oozes with the problematic attitude that now pervades some of those in control of AR. However, I say things in my defense when I am classified as being a certain way, and that will NEVER CHANGE. Why it's okay for people to pass judgement on me or others that have been labelled as "traitors" or "malcontents" or worse, yet I and they can't say anything in their defense or else I'm the bad guy I'll never know.
To try and impugn the credibility of an Admin at another board, all the while maintaining that one is taking the higher ground and disassociating oneself from all of the drama is ingenuine and only makes one look worse in the long run. Hopefully this post will do some good and no harm, however it is up to those who read it to take action upon it.Last edited by Aboot; 06-02-2005 at 04:12 AM.

I don't get the point of this post, but then again it was too choppy to make sense of.
In any event, I have a question that I've been pondering for some time.......
Anyone know if you can drink winny?

That guy has more hops than anyone I've seen.
He's become my favorite player for sure just on pure skill alone.

Living in San Antonio you'd thinkI'd be fired up for the Spurs.... normally I would but since it's the ONLY pro team we have here in SA everyone and their dead aunt is flaunting shirts.... banners on cars.... I like the spurs, hope they win it all... but I swear I'm about to go nuts and and start destroying any and all Spurs carp that i see. LOL

Why dont you guys take it off the board and really truly solve the problem? Aboot's post was very well written imo and I would think any member who brings up a valid concern in an intelligent and respectful way deserves time from others to find resolve.
Do not get me started on the Suns game, i'm in PhX so that's where my loyalties lie
