A pill that makes you grow (not gear)???

I was in psychology class the other day and somehow the topic of supplementation came up (a girl said that creatine and steroids are the same thing) so I just had to chime in and defend all the brothers out there.

Then my professor said that he read in the newspaper that scientists found what enzyme (or something) that triggers the body to tell itself to "grow." And that if you take this pill the body will be tricked and it will think that it has to grow without any stimulation.

Of course I said this can't be possible, but then I thought, well...maybe.

Did anyone hear anything about this????

Yes, search for exercise pill. I think there have been atleast 3 seperate threads. I think it is possible but still in the future.

I think it ws a Duke medical research team that came up with it. Not sure. It's supposed to take the place of exercise, not sure it's for getting big.

i have heard alot of negative things on this drug. it would be like turning yourself into one of those guys who grow to be 7 1/2ft tall, 5-600lbs. ie: andre the giant. the problem is, you get all the horrible side effects that they contend with through-out their lives. the worst one being, death at an early age.
