Finally, I'm in the 300 club!!
I was benching today and put on 285. Got it 3 times without a lot of strain, so I put on 295, got it once but didn't want to do more cos I wanted to go for 300. Put 300 on and hardly strained. I think I will go for 3 plates next week.
Finally made it to the 300 club.

You know, I made it to 315 like last fall for 3 reps, then one week it seemed i couldn't keep pushing the weight, I dont know what happened. And now I only have a crappy home gym to work out in untill i go back to school.

300lbs is a good club................but 400+lbs is where all the butt wild bitches are running loose @ and we even got cookies....................never the less, good job.......................

im in the 395 club.. lol cant get to 400 since i have a weird strain in my pec.. anyways so you were on 295 and then added 2 1/2lbs to each side? lol jk.. but good job. i remember hitting the 300 i was real excited. work hard because that 15 lbs to get to 3 plates is big jump. i think its alot mental tho.

congrats i know the exact feeling.. my goal was 300 and i got to 295 and pushed it kind of easily.. so the next week i went back and loaded up 315 and pushed out 3 unassisted.. I think i got up off the bench with a huge smile!!! I started out that cycle 12 weeks previous with a max of 205x4 so it was a milestone for me.. i have been on dumbells ever since but cant wait to get back to flat bench to try to get to 345 eventually.

congrats bro. i just hit 300 a few weeks ago myself. pretty much same as you. got 295 a couple different times. i failed 300 for 2 weeks in a row then finally got it the third we. i was shaking the whole rest of the time i lifted that day from the adrenaline rush i got. it was cool!

I know exactly what you guys mean. I'm almost positive I could have gotten 300 again, but I was trying so hard to hold back my smile that I lost concentration. I started feeling a little like a show of or something. The guys I workout with are straining big time with 245 and I'm hitting 285 3 times. Not that it makes me any better, but damn it's a good feeling.

Smith machine bar weighs only 15lbs. Not 45 like a standard bar.

That's awesome man. I can't wait until I get up there, but it will take me a long while being that I only weigh 150. Benching 90# dumbells for 6 easy though. I did max at 225 about a month and a half ago. I'd rather do dumbells myself.
