holy s*** bros I was at the gym tonight (Golds) and was knocking out some squats and one of the managers pulled me aside to "talk" to me. SHE explained to me that one of the rules of the gym was no loud grunting. WHAT?!?!? I explained to her that there was no way I was not going to grunt when im squating heavy. She then called over another manager (a guy this time about 150lbs) and he told me i needed to leave the gym because i wasnt following the rules of our contract. This is the same gym that tried to kick me out before for using powder on my hands for deadlifts. Has this happened to anyone else or are they just picking on me?

my gym is golds as well, and there is plenty of people(includig myself) who get theyre grunt on when lifting. and i have never seen any1 get talked to nor kicked out.thats sucks...id write to the corp. office.

seriously...once a spot for great bodybuilders turned into nothing more then a commercial product to follow the "trend" of fitness....ITS BOGUS!!!!

Thats one of the reasons I dont go to the local gym anymore. You listen to wxyBS radio, light songs and you cant make any loud noises. They are not picking on you, a lot of gyms are like libraries.

Sad to say it is in there... I used to work for Gold's as a Fitness Manager, and yes they are trying to get away rom the bodybuilders only image and more towards a family fitness establishment. Kind of a joke if ya ask me...
