Not bad, but they always have a lot of reliability issues

I need something a lot bigger.
Not a fan of "rice rockets" myself.

1000$ for a 75hp increase on a N/A motor? lol not possible unless you do a 75hp shot of Nitrous lol.
Swole I'd advise getting a 2007 Ford Cobra. 450hp out of a 5.4l 32V V8 with a nice blower.

It's not all about the fastest cars. Grow up and go get some cars that are luxurious and ride nice. Once your out of high school people don't care about who can drag faster...

Well with the engine actually starting out at 283 and that being only 42 HP gain on a N/A motor, it's quite possible with $1K. Cams, UDP, header, intake will get you pretty close on that engine

Luxurious doesn't do anything for me, sorry. I'd never own a Mercedes. I'll admit they are very nice, not knocking them in the least, but it never has and never will do anything for me

Yeah, true, I'm trying to move away from building compact cars though. I'd personally rather have a 2006 6" lifted F150 though. I have one now, but it's not lifted...That's my thing, but I live in the snow, so that has to do with my style of vehicles too, somewhat

and NSA, drag racing has NOTHING to do with bein in OR getting outta highschool.
Luxury is king however I do agree, but I'd prefer both....nothing like a 05 AMG SL55, pure power, raw sexiness and fukin classy as hell.
and since you already have a rsx type s, I can see why you'd want something else I had a g35 coupe six speed with brembos and nav and it is a car I would get again... if the vette love ever leaves my bones... PROBABLY NOT THOUGH.Last edited by Dally; 06-17-2005 at 08:26 AM.

Its to bad that Benz is a maintenance pig and so isn't BMW now. The only ones making decent cars with resale and luxury are the high end Japanese cars. I love BMW but will go with something that isnt going to kill me with problems. My father has owned 4 benz and and 2 BMW's The benz were the worst. Mits isnt doing well and they are not resaling for shit anymore either

i think its hiliarious how you guys only manage to get 260 bhp out of a 3.8ltr engine, when we've got engines in the uk that push out over 600bhp on a 2.0ltr

like what? hmmm? name some.
don't even start with the supercars either... cause this mitsu is NOT that and this is stock were talkin about here right (I doubt it)

ok if we're talking stock (which i wasnt)
you can try jags which kick out 380bhp as standards on a 2.5ltr engine
you've got a whole range of cosworths which produce from 200 to 600bhp stock
it nots a bad thing mate, just a common known fact, the majority of american built cars are big litered engines with ok ish bhp. you guys have cheap fuel, which means you just make a big engine and carry on the bhp from there, in the uk we have expensive fuel to keeping the litre size of out engines down which means we have to put more work into the engines to get more power out, thats why ltr divide by bhp british engines come out on top
-
06-17-2005, 10:21 AM #31
lol even the old lancer evos which are over 10 years old produce 260bhp from a 2.0ltr engine
-
06-17-2005, 10:29 AM #32
I'll agree with the comments on jags, but thats not a mitsu price range... and thats the R type or the XKr's those are completely different range, its apples to oranges
those lancers are turbo'd ... not NA.
big litre motors, na big litre motors will always outpower and outrun a smaller litre na car.. its just the way it is.
Im talking pound for pound (cash) and not NA versus blown and not rwd vs awd or the like, hard to compare vech's that aren't comparable.
anyways welcome back ... and suc my balls.

whip them out.
well, seeing as the british pound is strong and the dollar is relativly weak compared i'd get f*ck all for the money the elcipse is

err we're talkin pound for pound (dollar for dollar) doesnt matter where they are made, although saying that as you go to different countries different engines options are available and smaller bigger bhp versions are availabke
