When do you work? Whats you usual sleeping pattern? You have to be consistent with the time you go to sleep and wake up...........its not that hard to change either.

Have you tried Melatonin? A lot of travellers use it to avoid jet lag and re-adjust their internal clock.
Take it 30 min to an hour before you WANT to sleep, do this for about a week and you'll start falling asleep when you want to AND wake up nice and refreshed
It works for me

And how you fix it is gradually.......
Try sleeping a 3 and wake up at 8. Then the next day sleep at 2 wake up at 7.
You get my drift?

Why Xanax?
So let me get this straight, you currently go to bed at 4:00am? but now you'll be starting school and have to get up at 5:00am? is that right?
When do you start your new schedule?

hmm the 1st week is gonna suck!!!!
I think im gonna do that..doesnt it take like 42 days for ur internal clock to get used to smth 100%
or is that BS??

Yes it is going to suck, but it wont take as long as you think. I have never heard of this 42 day thing. I mean think about it, people travel all the time and have to sometimes adjust to 12 hour time differences if they're travelling across the world and this doesnt take more then a few days to get use to.
Melatonin would help a lot but if you dont have access to it, you'll have to be disciplined and do what Colossus suggested and just bear with it for a while. You'll be in bed and asleep by 10:00pm in no time

I fixed my sleeping problem a while back without any drugs. I was staying up until 3 or 4 in the morning and waking up at 10 or 11 feeling like crap all the time. There are 2 things you can do.
1) Go to bed at your normal time but wakeup super early, so you only get a few hours of sleep. Then tough out the day and you should find yourself being tired much earlier than usual. When you realize you are tired go to bed, don't screw around. It seems like if you don't go to bed when you are tired then your body gets a second wind and it will be a few more hours until you sleep.
2) Slowly start going to bed earlier and earlier. This is a little more difficult because your body is used to going to bed at a certain time, but it can be done. Find something that makes you tired, like reading a book in bed or whatever. Do this at the time you want to fall asleep (say like 3:00 instead of 4:00) and that should help you get to sleep. Over time you can do it earlier and earlier until you get to were you wanna be.
Also, don't take any naps during the day, ever. Once you get into a good sleep pattern you can add in naps, but not right now.
