We lost the baby
My wife and I went to the DR's office yesterday, and after the sonogram, we were informed that we had lost the baby.
The DR said that it was a chromosome abnormality, and that there was nothing that we did wrong, or could have done to save the baby.

Wow, as a father I have to say that must really feel like nothing else!!
If there is any "good" part to this, at least there was no real suffering correct? I mean, she was very early in the pregnancy if I recall correctly as you announced this not too long ago?
That doesn't make it "better" at all, but I'm just trying to find a positive in this.
Stay up big dog.

Thanks guys,
Yes it was very early in the pregnancy.
The only good news is that according to the Doctors there is nothing wrong with my wife or I.
Although this is a pretty good kick in the nuts, we can try again.

I'm sincerely sorry for your lost... The same thing happened twice to
a very close friend of mine and she and her husband are now blessed
with a beautiful healthy baby girl...
Be there for your wife the best you can, from my experience she'll take
it harder then you maybe... Stay strong and assure her everything will
be OK in the end... God Bless bro.... I know this is tough...

I think the hardest thing about a loss like this is how there will be people out there who expect you to just be "fine" right away - I hope you'll find lots of support here and in your day to day life that give you permission to grieve/be pissed/whatever. I can't say I know what it's like for you but I'll keep you and your wife in my prayers. So sorry for your loss.

im very sorry to hear of your loss. unfortunately everything in life is a plan and though we cannot see the reasons for things now, and you are sad, better days will come and when the time is right you will be blessed with a beautiful healthy child.
