hey im downloading the new family guy movie, its an avi file if i burn that to a cd will it work in a dvd player?

i d k if it will work but imn regards to the movie, its nowhere near as good as it could have been fyi, the show is soo much better IMO

if your dvd player supports avi,divx,xvid,mpeg and so on then it will..
if not then it will not work and you can only watch it on your pc..

Some DVD players will play avi, some will only play DVD and VCD and some will play nothing but DVD. There are programs that can convert your avi to mpg, either vcd or dvd compliant. Depends a lot on the avi codec used whether this will be easy or not. If you don't know if it will play or not, try it and see. It won't hurt anything.
