shrinking image for avatar

i have no idea exactly how large the picture is, or even how to find out. anybody willing to help, as in i email you the picture and you mail it back sized to fit my avatar? please

still need an image resized? what you can do, among many ways, is download free trial of macromedia fireworks. open the picture in fireworks, then one of the options is 'resize'. "The maximum size of your custom image is 150 by 150 pixels or 19.5 KB (whichever is smaller)." click on modify-->canvas-->image size. put in the pixel dimensions and thats it.
