    to many to name but in my mind lou gehrig edges them all out....who else hits 4 homeruns a game, won the triple crown with a .363 batting average and 49 homeruns with 165 RBI's in a season, holds the most career grand slams, drove in 500 runs in 3 years including 184 in 1931 and has the most homeruns as a first baseman until mark McGwire came along about 60 years later

Every team owner has the money to invest in great players and let me not even bother mentioning that people like posada, jeter, rivera, williams as well as others have been brought through the yankees farm system. People love to forget that part. that right there is 10's of millions in contracts from people raised yes that's right IN THEIR OWN SYSTEM.
