Eddie Guerrero was found this morning with his toothbrush in his mouth on the bathroom floor. He apparently died while brushing his teeth. The belief among those within WWE is that he had a heart failure. PWTorch.com reports that shortly after Guerrero's body was removed from the room, Chris Benoit, Rey Mysterio, Dean Malenko and Chavo Guerrero all visited the hotel room to say their final goodbyes. Many WWE staffers were visibly shaken by this as they left the hotel and headed for the arena.
WWE.com noted the following: Vince McMahon and Chavo Guerrero held a press conference regarding the untimely death of Eddie Guerrero today at 12:45 CT. At this time, the circumstances surrounding his death are still unclear. Video of the entire press conference will be made available on WWE.com shortly.

The WWE just lost a great worker. Eddie had excellent mic skills, charisma, and performed well in the squared circle. I'm very sad to see him go. Eddie, Eddie, Eddie...

Yes Eddie add some great year ahead of him has well, he did so much since i first saw him back in 1994 in ECW.
Eddie add been taking steroids for a while now but i think its the mix that killed him, with drugs and pain killers, each time a wrestler dies its almost always for that reason.

Holy crap. that sux.
eddie was lookin pretty big this last couple years. It may have been juice related. But its interesting that he died brushing his teeth, cuz if you have a certain heart condition(murmer?) bacteria can get into your bloodstream via the gums and cause a fatal problem.

Wow that sucks...used to watch him all the time in ECW and WCW....
I read the headline stories....they didn't state the cause of death but said he was addicted to painkillers and other drugs. I had heard that he was on coke....but the media is looking like it's going to blame it on AAS...which he obviously was on, but it was prob the combo of drugs that got him.
R.I.P. Eddie

What is it about wrestling that seems to leave so many guys in its wake?
Texas Tornadoe
Rick Rude
Owen Hart
Road Warrior Hawk
Eddie Guarerro
Curt Henning
etc. etc. etc.

Steroids will come into the media picture, just wait and see. I agree that it was probably a combination of drugs such as painkillers and uppers along w/ steroid use that may have killed him. 90% of all WWE guys are on a shitload of painkillers. The career is a hard life, alot of drugs, traveling, and exhertion, all on little to no sleep.

he couldnt have used enough juice to kill him. hes only used the last couple years. he prolly didnt use more than a gram a week of test, i would think.

Jumping off high ledges, being slammed etc. will take a tole on ones body...
Dont forget the type of punishment and torture these guys put there bodies through..
At one point or another, the heart can fail...Might not just be associated to drugs

Sad to hear about this, I've been a wrestling fan since I saw my first match.
I remember I almost cried as a youngling watching Hulk Hogan fight his former best friend Macho Man in WM5 (I think it was five). I remember them making up at the end of the match, and carring Miss Elizabeth on their shoulders around the ring. Boy, that is a tear jerker.
Sad to see someone go so young really, 38? That is way to young to see go. Obviously he looked great on the outside, but somthing was not right on the inside. I'm not for putting steroids on the scene or placing blame. But I do hope it brings awarness to the other athelets and makes them research and be safe with the gear they choose.
The best would be if it was legal under the supervision of a doctor, so it was truly safe and easier to find reliable advice, after all not everyone knows about these forums :P
