    Weekend Trip San Diego - Must See Please!

    Spur of moment idea! Driving in this Saturday, spending the night and back Sunday afternoon.

    What would you recommend!

    What part of town to book a room?

    Truthfully, I do not know what you can and can’t do with Covid-19. I will tell you the beaches are an option. Just make sure you have a face covering. Everywhere requires it.
    The weather is nice here so there is probably a lot you can do outside.
    Covid has things so messed up. There are nice hotels down near the airport but I have no idea of the prices. They usually are expensive but with limited tourism they may be cheap.

    Balboa Park is always a fun place to go.

    La Jolla and Del Mar are two of my favorites! Stay out of the Gas Lamp, it’s been overrun with the homeless and some real crazies.

    Book it in Vegas or Laughlin. SD and the entire state of California sucks right now since they've shut just about everything down.

    Shoot, me & wife hopped down through most of the hotels up & down La Jolla + we stayed downtown a few times

    Pacific Terrace is the main one that I remember right on the beach

    + the Dana & the Catamaran on whatever that island is called a little ways down

    We stayed at the Catamaran last time, after living at a Airbnb in that tallest building at the end of the beach - seriously, we been there way too many times - my pocket def still feels it

    I was considering a move there actually, before this shit happened to me - it was still too hard, but I was looking at a few business & properties

    Got an offer to go to Vegas last weekend by a guy who is going with another couple. I don’t gamble and have been for fabulous shows. I’m feeling San Diego is a better choice.

    Another guy wants me to go with him to SD and his interest is bars, nightclubs. He can dropped me off at the beach!

    I believe bars are outside only also. You are making me feel like a hermit. I only go to the gym and work.
    I do know that the mayor of El Cajon is going to have a meeting today and tell police not to enforce mask, social distancing and essential businesses. At least someone here in the blue state is seeing the light. You can wait in line at Walmart but haircuts need to be outside.

    Me, girly me, lol go her booty out of bed for a sunrise trail hike. Other than the 23 YO, I was in best shape and others could not hang. Never made to summit and it was still fabulous!

    See coyotes everyday on location. Kinda scrawny and we aren’t allowed to feed. The fed ones at different location are much larger and aggressive.
