bad breath

what the hell causes bad breath.. Some old guy at my work had bad breath every single day.. And one of my friends has it too.. Like all the day.. Its not like anyone has the balls to tell them.. And they have no idea.. I hope I dont have it.. Dam, its nasty.. I mean, how can you hit on a girl with bad breath.. So what causes it..

If someone has it all the time, it's probably halotosis. A guy I used to work w/ had it, and his breath smelled like a dumpster ALL the time.

Correction- halitosis is the medical term for bad breath. The dude I knew had a bacteria problem, and his excuse was always that he had to have some oral surgery that costed $$$. His teeth looked as though they had never encountered a tooth brush, though. His attractive (sarcasm) wife would always make it a point to stick her toungue down his throat when she came to see him at work because she knew we used to torture him about his breath, as well as many other things.

old people never floss so little bits of food in their mouths rot between their teeth and shit, plus a lot of oldies never brush anymore.....love em to death but keep those pearly whites goin

its something to do with having sulphur compunds in the mouth that dont get removed by brushing that can cause it

you can buy stuff though, bit expensive, called Raterdex, pretty good stuff (though ive never needed it!!)

Diet and bacteria in the mouth. I learned in a psychology class that halatosis was a term created by the company that makes Listerine, but I believe it is now a medical term.

Since this thread on maximizing gains popped up http://forums.steroid.com/showthread...light=eat+shit this has become a common question among newbies on this board. Although eating shit will contribute to the problem, it can also be caused by bacteria that emits sulphorus compounds....a mouth rinse containing chlorine dioxide supposidly does the trick, and of course remember to brush and floss.
