Not enough to invest for any substantial return.
Live off it for a while or go splurge w/it aka be absurd w/it.

If you are really interested in making more out of it, and want to make it grow.....
You could open an online brokerage account and buy some stocks. Make sure you do a lot of research before you buy anything. Watch JimCramer's "Mad Money" for a couple of weeks on CNBC!
If you want a more conservative approach.... Put it into a Fund of funds (type of mutual fund), like Fidelity's Freedom Fund. It's a mutual fund where the underlying securities are other mutual funds, rather than individual stocks and bonds. It's a good way to make a secure, but potentially profitable investment w/ a small amount of money.

if ur gonna invest in a stock invest in (intercontinental exchange) ticker symbol ICE. this company handles futures contracts for energy, especially oil, companies that are finacial exchanges do extremely well. the chicago mercantile exchange has returned 1000% in 3 years and the archipeligo holding have returned 500% in 2 years. ICE is similar to these companies, yet it has the potential to grow much larger. The IPO was offered last month and the time is now to invest. You could be looking at 30k in 3 years.

Too bad it didn't come a little sooner... You could've stood in line and bought 7 XBOX 360's and sold each for close to a grand on e-bay. You'd have $4,000 extra if i do my math right..
