My only regret
Thanks for sharing your sad news with the board. There's lots of concern for the bros here and their families. I will make sure and pray for her (can you post her name or nickname for me).
I lost my step father a few years back and DID NOT SPEND ENOUGH TIME WITH HIM. He was sicka dn I tried to be a dutiful son but I should have just curled up at his feet and made sure he knew I was there regardless: that I wasn't scared of him; but I was scared and he knew it. Damn.....just love her and hug her and make her know how much she means to you. You'll both benefit from it. Love her, fillher room with roses, don;t leave your dishes in the sink (whatever pisses her off normally) and make her know she's #1!
I'm so sorry you and your family have to deal with this. Please kep us posted; support is here.

I know personally several people who have had cancer and recovered...including my 82 year old aunt! Don't worry bro, be optimistic, keep her optimistic and after some hard treatment she'll be okay.

I'm so sorry to hear this. I'm going through a similar thing with someone close to me. I think the best thing you could give her right now is your support. Even if you think she has given up on the idea of fighting the cancer, your mother still needs you to make sure she has the quality of life she deserves. Whether one chooses aggressive treatment or not, simply the ordeal of having cancer is difficult and your emotional support can make a huge difference.
