Kaiserslautern/Ramstein, Germany?
Just wondering if anyone else is around these areas. Moved here in August and find the gyms a bit in dissaray due to construction of the new place. Was hoping someone could tell me if there was a better place on the economy with better equipment.

What's up, bro! I live here in K-town and let me tell you that the gyms here suck, for the most part. There is one "hardcore" gym that will meet all of your needs called Fitness Point on Friedenstrasse. 0631 43303 if you have questions. It is pretty expensive, though, just like all of the other gyms in Germany. If I were you I would keep going to the base gym unless you have 50 Euro a month to burn.

Damn that is kinda steep. I frequent the Ramstein gym by the lemon lot. Frustrating as all hell some of the "policies" they have there. If my first born wasn't due any day now I wouldn't have a problem with the 50 euros.
Thanks for the info though. Do you go to that gym or do you go to a base gym?

Marburg is north of Frankfurt, I believe. My GF had a friend who lived there. It's about 2-3 hours away from Kaiserslautern.

Don't suppose you know of a good sushi bar in the area? Wife and I moved from Japan and miss sushi the most.

Koi Asia Restaurant: Cheap food. Not quite Japanese cuisine but pretty darn close. The sushi is decent but you can't beat the price.
Sukiyaki: Authentic cuisine but you better bring your ATM/Credit Card because this place is expensive. The food is very impressive. My favorite restaurant in K-town.
Have fun!
