yeah that sucks for UT football next year, but if I were in Vince's shoes, I'd go pro too. At least he brought the national championship back to where it belongs in texas, not USC and showed the nation why he shouldve won the heisman and not reggie bush!

Ya the entire media and everyone was all on Reggie Bush's nuts. I thought he would win the heisman but not by a LANDSLIDE. TX D pretty much shut him down. That was an amazing game..made it better since I was there . Selfishly me and other UT fans would like to see him come back, but he made the right decision..thats a no brainer. What an amazing football player..almost like he calms down and goes into this mode in moments of intense pressure when the game is on the line.

yeah most deff, but Houston says they dont want him that they want Bush, i can really blame them i cant even imagain how hard of a pick that would be onsidering the Texans arnt gonna bench Carr, they may as well go with Bush, Vince Young will prolly end up in San Fran,

i hate that crap with college players. These guys have the opportunity to go to the NFL, which most people dont ever get to do, and they think theyre too good to play in some city that drafted them when they havent even played a game in the NFL. You might be good in college, but pro is completely different. Eli Manning pissed me off when he did that shit, and he still hasnt impressed me in the NFL

i do not think Matt Leinart will be a good NFL quarterback

ya I agree..you haven't stepped foot on the field and you are telling teams you dont want to play for them. It is an honor to go to the NFL and get paid millions of dollars to play football anyway.

Im 4rom Houston And I Think Carr Should Go He Sucks But I Dont Think That If They Would Get Young That They Should Start Him Right Away

i would like to see Vince on the texans, but I dont think Carr is that bad. He just has NO offensive line whatsoever. If he gets a line and can get some protection, he'll be ok. If the texans draft Vince, they'll probably trade him for some offensive linemen

Yup, that would be a good idea. There aren't many qbs/rbs that can be successful with a shitty line w/ the exception of Barry Sanders. Vince is extremely elusive but I dunno about the NFL and when he has multiple guys after him.

He will turn out to be a total dud in the NFL. Another Micheal Vick. Take the ability away from them to run, and they're just an average QB,if not below average.

.....Hmmmmm, this means more than likely Ohio State will be the #1 rated pre-season team next year....what do you all think?
They just reeled in the nation's number one running back, a stud from Akron, Ohio named Chris Wells. He is 230 lbs and runs the 40 in 4.4 - now thats BURNIN' for a big guy!
Buckeyes will be tough again next year..............

2. he needs the money
3. you can come back and get a college degree (if it was usefull whatsoever) after an nfl career

yea. he's accomplished everything so far except for the heisman. when you're the top 5 draft pick for the nfl you've pretty much done what you set out to do as a college football player.
