prayer request
Hey guys, my mother jsut called me to make me aware that one of my sister and her husband's best friends was seriously injured this weekend skiing in colorado. I don't know the whole story of it yet, but he is an extremely experienced skier and skis very fast. Anyways, he hit a tree this weekend somehow and he broke all the bones in his face as well as two vertbrae. He had to be life flighted off of the mountain and rushed to the hospital. He has internal bleeding and bleeding of the brain, but he couldnt be taken directly into surgery b/c he was not in stable enough condition. Luckily the doctors have stabilized him and put him in a medical induced coma, and I believe he will be in surgery today. He is still not in the clear though. I know some of you guys are not religious, and that is fine, I am not pushing it on anyone, but could you guys please pray for him and his family. My sister and her husband are extremely tore up about this whole accident. He was my brother in law's roommate in college and a best friend of my sisters during college as well. He is a great guy, extremely nice and caring...only 22 years old and just engaged and supposed to be getting married in june Please pray for his recovery. I would appreciate it tons. Thanks guys and don't take anything for granted this is just a reminder of how life is so precious and coudl potentially end at any moment.

Dang man, sorry to hear. I hear about skiing accidents all the time it seems. Hell, just this month 2004 WSM Vasyl Virastuk's wife was killed in an avalanche. Hope everything goes well for your friend.
