i had the same argument, depending on when they went to college, nutrition has changed direction about 2.2million times in the last 25 years, most old school nutritionists are the "high carb builds muscle" kind, where they devote no credit to protein... but in all honesty, protein alone wont build a big body.. u have to combine them effectivly... which is prolly what she is semi aiming at, but isnt intelligent enough to explain

my dad is always telling me that i only need 40 grams of protein total for a whole day. i used to get pissed when hed say that, but now i dont bother arguing with him.

^40 per day?...I believe even the FDA calls for 60 to 70...not that much difference I guess...

yea, id be very angry if i was only able to eat 40 grams of protein in a whole day. i try to explain to him that thats only for people who dont lift weights, but he doesn't listen to me.

I've learned not to pay too much attention to what professors here say I just memorize it for the test. Here at this school I wouldn't take in most of the dribblw they spit out

I have a friend that is a Health Teacher and this is one of the things he says they used for the grade school students last year - Where is the protein mentioned?
