My goals for 2006 would be;
#1- Build my credit up better
#2- Join the state credit union so I can get some good state perks and benefits such as killer APR's on loans. I've just got hired with the fire dept so now I can join there.
#3- Start this side business I've been working on and get it off the ground by the end of the year.
#4- Try to get more involved with christianity and learn more about who I am.
#5- Try to become leaner and more dense looking this year. I'm not as concerned as much with size for awhile as I am with a clean,hard, and vascular look. It's getting to the point where it's easier to maintain size and I need to focus more on conditioning and staying hard year round. I've been primarily focused on raw size for about 8 years now. It's time to polish the diamond now baby.
#6- make more time for family
Bodybuilding for me this year will not be the primary focus on life, it's time to build up more than just my body.

Well I believe we take for granted our lives. Thats why I pity those whom I see wasting it. That we dont realize that we are mere mortals that do have an expiry date(Which could be tonite just as it can be in 55 years). There for it make absolute perfect sense that we attempt to optimize our time here.................on earth that is. Sometimes it bothers me when I reflect and think with those people with whom I have grudges.

Those are some great goals SS!!
When 2007 comes around, I would like to look back and just see an improvement, or should I say progession, overall. I want to look back and see myself having come a long ways in terms of a future career (I will be finishing up school soon after this and need to decide what I want to ultimately do with my life), building stronger relationships with those who I care about in life, and of course building a bigger and better physique. I would also like to compete and look back on it as a pleasant experience in which I hopefully learned a lot about my body that will hopefully only help me build it up even better in the future.
Good thread, it got me thinking

back to your original post sc, I wish that I could have appreciated uproductiveness in my 20's as much as I have truly begun to into my 30's. More so everyday I find myself trying to work smarter at everything I do, so as not to be wasting my time and efforts.
Looking back into my early adulthood, I was very busy, but working hard and not working smart is not always the right answer. Working hard and working smart at the same time definitely pays better dividends.
Maybe getting older does have some advantages??!!
peace,
