    maybe it was from then movie "Riding Giants"
    anyway both movies were very good and the were surfing waves that size .

    Thats an awesome clip...i think its def real it just seems surreal the way they add on the wind blowing and the quietness at the same time as well as the crushing sound of the wave.

    That is one brave dude. Mavericks sometimes gets 60 -70 foot waves up in NorCal for a few days out of the year and there's actually a few guys crazy enough to ride them. Some body mentioned "Riding Giants". That movie had my eyes glued to the screen and my jaw to the floor..if you like this stuff rent it it's good.
