I have had a friend since i was 16.. we have gorwn up together.. when we were young she was always a little chubby.. but was always pretty.. over the years the pounds have piled on..

i can't pressure her to go to the gym, but i try to encourage a little.. This past august it was her birthday and we all went out to celbrate.. the guy she liked went after me.. i didn't do a thing to encourage it.. but she was drunk and said a few things she didn't think i heard.. it's hard not to let those words hurt.. how can stuff like that not piss you off.. I still love this girl.. she's been there for me when no oneelse has and i know she would be there for me if i ever really need some one, but our firendship is definately strained..

Sometimes there are factors in life we ca do very little about.. in this instance this is one of them.. she can't change the way she feels and i can't do much to help her because she won't help her self..

I spend less time with her.. but i can't let go of a friendship i have considered so important
