Yes, however there are some athletes who are one step ahead of the game. Just a few years back HGH and EPO were not detectable. In my opinion there are performance enhancing drugs that exist that we have no IDEA of. Its big game with big money and there will always be cheats. Ask Dick Pound.

IOC wanted to ban bicarbonate loading back in the day... then they realized that would also ban consuming all baked goods...
