Damn Europeans...
What is the deal with Europeans??? None of them lift?
I am by no means freak status, I'm not that big. When I was walking through the airport in Spain I had people staring and pointing at me.
When my friend and I walk around the city, we get the same thing. People staring.
Sunday night we went out to dinner and when we walked in people were staring again. We sat down and there was a table behind a pillar and the people actually got out of their chairs to look around the pillar at us. Half way through dinner one of the waitresses walked over and said to me "why are you like that?" I said like what. She said like this, then flexes doing a most muscular pose. I told her I compete bodybuilding. Then asked my friend if he competes, he said no. She said then why are you like that? She said the staff were talking in the back and they wondered why we would do this to ourselves. She was speaking as if being muscular is bad.
So whats the deal? Eruos don't lift? Being a 120 male is a good thing?Muscle Asylum Project Athlete

There are a lot of lifters in certain European countries, like Germany. Italy, Spain and a few other countries have hardly any lifters.

lol i hear ya with the mullets. They're fukin everywhere in Europe. Especially when I went to Barcelona and Madrid. The English love them as well. They sport the mullet or the David Beckham hair doo. Than they wear tight jeans and collared shirts with the collar pulled up. They top it off with a pair of diesels. Gotta love Europe!!!
I hope Booz n Stocky aren't like that.
You're right though that most people I saw in spain particularly Madrid weren't very big. No fatties and alot of skinny, scrawny guys.
Now when I went to Barcelona it was a different story. I saw a shitload of juiceheads at the beach, clubs, bars...
IMO Barcelona is 10x better than Madrid with the beach, women, better overal city. Madrid is too hot in the summer, but I have to admit their way of partying until the wee hours is pretty hardcore!!!Last edited by Smak; 02-21-2006 at 12:30 PM.

Carlos, EVERYONE in Spain stares. It's not just you. I lived there for a summer in Madrid and in Palma de Mallorca. Everyone stares...and unlike in America, where if you stare back, the person usually looks away, not the Spainards. Just something you gotta get used to.

Should have told her it was genetic. That you don't lift, and you get it from your mother.

Carlos E..l its funny you mention that bro.. Im currently in Spain for a couple of months and realised how small people are here.. I am nowhere huge but when I work out there are not many people who are that big or lift alot.. at least compared to the states.. Are you traveling around Europe or are you in spain?
