feelin a lil hypocritical
my friend has gotten into weight lifting, he's 19. we were room mates. i know i probably didn't set a good example at all, doing a cycle (without even knowing what the piss i was taking besides the name). i've learned a tremendous amount since i first used a cycle. but i guess i'm feeling a lil morally wrong here, he's asking me about some stuff to take, and he's saying that he's wanting to start a cycle. i told him i wish i had waited till i was in my 20's, and perhaps actually learned what i was pumping into my body...i feel at a loss because i'm telling him exactly the opposite of what i did, i guess i'm worried about him, and just looking out to make sure he doesn't make the same mistakes i made. i dunno....any thoughts?

I can see why you are feeling hypocritical. But I mean think of it this way. You made a mistake and gained some valuable information in the process, now you can pass that info on to him and make sure he avoids the mistakes that you did. I mean he should be glad he has you as a resource.

You are no longer hypicritical if you can be sincere about admitting to yourself you had made a mistake, and since then have become more knowledgeable since.
Tell him he should learn from your mistakes, it will make his experience a lot better.
