    If u reply to a thread that ultimately gets deleted

    do you get credit for the post? I have replied to some questionable threads that were erased (for the better), just curious if my post # gets credit for my replys that were deleted too. (not a serious ?, pretending to be busy cuz gf wants to talk about trip to see parents)

    As far as I know they dont count. But I dont pay much attention to my post count so its hard to say. But I have heard some of the whores screaming for mercy when a mod threatens to delete the whore thread, as they dont want their posts to go down.

    It depends.

    We have two options for deleting a thread, 'soft' and 'hard'. If the thread is 'soft' deleted the post counts still stand and we can take the thread out of the recycle bin and put it back anytime. In the 'hard' delete option everything is permanently deleted, including post counts.

    They wont ever delete that thread now...because (especially now) there are a lot of Vets that have about half or more of their posts in that thread...They probably would be embarrassed about all the sudden going from like 5 or 6k to 2 or 3k

    I think that as a mod or a vet you can adjust your post count anyway. I used to have my own board a while back and as teh administrator I could give the mods the powers to add or take away post count. Im not sure if that is the case here, just depends what the settings are for their powers

    I think both options affect post counts..

    When i soft deleted the offical thread about nothing.. my postcount dropped by like 100 or so.

    lol... i'd like to hard delete that shit tho
