    Don't be that guy!

So, I got my MRI yesterday. Damnit Jim! I'm a Mechanic, not a doctor! But even I can see, there's a problem there. Wish I could scan it and put it up here. Maybe, I'll put it in the window and take a pic during the week.
Any way, my dad wants me to skip the Chiro because he thinks chiro's are quacks. Wants me to go straight to the ortho.

Hey! Dont let your dad steer you in the wrong direction. You must be from the North where they think all chiro's are quacks! My family also beleives this and taught me to never go to one.
Now that I am in my late 30's I started having some back problems. My girlfriends mother told me to go to a chiro. This lady is probably the fittest woman I ever met at her age. She is 50 years old, but has an 8 pack! She is an incredible fitness instructor in the North. She made me go and after one session my back was fine! I still go on occasion and my family still thinks their wakos. But do yourself a favor and waste $40.00 before you let a surgeon give you his opinion which may entail long term negative results. I am not against doctors, I just think you should try some less invasive/expensive procedures which may alleviate your problem.

For my lower back. Think I have a herniated disk.

I can't see my self going to a chiro ever either.. somehow someone cracking my bones etc doesn't appeal to me..

Plus people seem to think you go once and you have to keep going back

dude you should go to a chiropractor.......since you hurt your back that's essentially seeing a specialist anyway, that's what their best at is spine stuff......and for the record i would (and have) seen a chiropractor way way way before i go those quack MDs.......stay away from them

Sorry, my bad. Born and raised here.
Chiro's are on my plan. Whole page listed. Just need to find out which is best on the list.

    I don't trust chiro's, next thing you'll be in a wheelchair.
