Shoot 'em and blow things up...

Whats the best PC game right now where you just blow shit up and kill stuff? Best graphics and insane action... I got a good rig for it. I don't want something that takes hours to get into any trouble - I am looking for a title that you can just pop in your PC, cause some serious damage and then be done with it.

I used to really like that old Playstation game Loaded... very graphic and lots of things to destroy quickly... GTA Vice City is an ol' favorite too.

Is Grand Theft Auto Sand Andreas still a good one?

BTW - no, not just having a destrcutive moment and I don't need counceling - just looking for some entertaining eye-candy for my system...

GTA San Andreas is bloody awesome IMO. It's probably my favourite PC game of all time.

Farcry and battlefield 2 seem to be real popular amongst PC gamers. ive played battlefied 2 for xbox 360 and on there its pretty damn cool. i imagine on PC it a little better since their online servers are typically better than consoles.

battlefield 2 is awesome....its not extremely gory like doom, but you definatly kill people and it is a hella good time
San andreas is fun, definatly more graphic than the previous versions, plus you can take your guy to the gym and get him big which is cool

Ive just start playing THE GODFATHER the video game, not exactly all shoot em up action, but still a great game for anyone who likes the old mobster type movies.

F.E.A.R is an awsome game, the mood and atmosphere are crazy!
There's a free game preview you can download and play to try it out, gotta have a mean system though to get the best out of it!

oh god yea, gta san andreas is one of the best games i have ever played. if you like violent games, then you should check out soldier of fortuine 1 and 2. haha, shoot some dude thorugh the head and see his brains splatter everywhere. as for old school violence, check out rise of the triad. its old, but violent as all hell, especially if you type in the code /ekg... i think thats it... its the extra gore code thatl have limbs/eye balls/LOTS of blood flying everywhere when you blow guys up with the rocket launcher.

I got Far Cry with my Asus 6800GT graphics card last summer - its frickin' awesome detail in the graphics... but you really got to work hard at it... try and stay low and then take your shots when they are open. San Andreas looks like all out anarchy like Vice City was...

Battlefield 2...tons of vehicles,good maps,2good expansions. Not a game you would put down tho because you will want to unlock all the gun.
