ritek are the best...dunno about ink since most have no label's... verbatim = sux... they are the best out of the store sh*t people buy...but i have litterally burned over 1000 dvd's and had less than 3 become coasters. I use prodisk because my pioneer doesn't like ritek and it doesn't read there speed right

I use TDK+ and ive done countless burns. As a rule of thumb I use DVD+ for movies and CDR- for music. Zimmy the ink he is refering to is what the put on the physical side of the disk for burning on.
Check this out, i refer to it now and again when my local sells out of TDK...

sure do...i'd go with an external put in an internal firewire/usb enclosure.

you can buy a good 16x pioneer dvd burner that handles -/+ r/rw for like 30 bucs

i always get my stuff from www.newegg.com

BenQ or Taiyo Yuden DVD-R have always worked for me without any coasters ever and I've gone through a countless number of dvds

Use an s-video cord from your graphics card straight to your tv. You dont need to waste money on blank dvd's. You just have to see if your card has that capability
