Gyno surgery ... 5 weeks no training ... how bad?
I'm probably having gyno surgery this summer. I won't be able to lift weights for 5-6 weeks. How bad will this be ... muscle/stength loss wise?
Who has gone this long without working-out?
Give me your opinion / share your experience.
Peace out

Depends on how developed you are I would imagine. I know for me if I take two weeks off my strength drops a lot, but it comes back instantly. I am sure though you will be a much happier person once the surgery is done, and won't have an issue with training a bit harder to regain strength.

1-2 week breaks are okay, but a month and a half is a long time.
However, getting rid of gyno is probably more important.
